Neighborhood Update

Updated: 6 hours ago

As we move into summer, there has already been a lot of activity around Prestwick II to keep our neighborhood looking its best and protect our homes. You have probably noticed the fresh new look of our oak trees. All community oak trees have been professionally trimmed, opening up the canopy and improving the overall appearance of the neighborhood. At the same time, the crape myrtles are now in bloom, adding a beautiful splash of color throughout the community.

Landscaping & Irrigation Improvements

Before the installation of new sod, the irrigation system was thoroughly tested to ensure proper coverage and help the new grass establish successfully.

We’ve also added a welcoming touch to the gazebo entrance area with new jasmine plantings. As the plants mature, they’ll provide additional greenery and fragrance for everyone enjoying the common areas.

Gutter Cleaning Moved Up to July

With the unusually heavy rainfall we’ve experienced recently, several homeowners reported clogged gutters. Those reported issues have already been addressed.

Normally, community gutter cleaning is scheduled for September. However, because of the number of early-season clogging reports, the Board has decided to move the gutter cleaning up to July. Taking care of this now will help reduce the risk of water overflow and potential damage to homes that can result from clogged gutters.

Coming Next Week

A crew will be pressure washing the common areas, including the gazebo sidewalk, to freshen up these shared spaces and keep them looking clean and inviting.
