We're Looking for One More Volunteer to Join the PT2 HOA Fining Committee

The Prestwick II HOA is looking for one additional homeowner to serve on our Fining Committee. This is an important volunteer role that helps ensure our community's enforcement process is fair and follows Florida law.

What Does the Fining Committee Do?

The Fining Committee does not look for violations, issue warnings, or decide whether a homeowner is in violation. Those responsibilities belong to the HOA Board of Directors and the Community Association Manager, who follow an established enforcement process that begins with courtesy reminders and opportunities to correct the issue.

The committee's role begins only after the Board has voted to impose a proposed fine. The committee meets to review the matter and either approve or reject the proposed fine. This independent review helps ensure the enforcement process is fair and consistent for all homeowners.

Why Is the Committee Important?

Serving on the Fining Committee is a valuable way to give back to our community. Committee members help protect the integrity of the HOA's enforcement process while ensuring that homeowners receive an impartial review before a fine becomes final.
