As the year draws to a close, it’s natural to pause and reflect on what we have accomplished together and the challenges we have faced. This moment offers a chance to appreciate the progress made and to prepare for the opportunities ahead. Our neighborhood has seen positive change, thanks to the dedication and collaboration of everyone involved. Now, with 2026 on the horizon, we look forward to building on this foundation with renewed energy and clear goals for continued improvement.

Looking Back on Our Achievements
This past year has been a testament to what a committed group of people can accomplish. Our neighborhood has experienced several key improvements that have enhanced the quality of life for residents and strengthened our community bonds.
Strengthening Neighborhood Connections
Beyond physical improvements, we have worked hard to foster a stronger sense of community.
New communication channels, including our neighborhood newsletter and new website, have improved information sharing.
Formation of the Landscape and Garden Club showed that neighbors are willing to work together to improve the community.
Challenges We Faced and Lessons Learned
No year comes without a few bumps in the road, and looking back at the challenges we’ve faced helps us move forward stronger and more prepared. This year, our lawns, irrigation system, and fountains gave us more than a few headaches — but we made real progress! We recently invested $9,085 to inspect and repair the wiring and electrical components of our irrigation system, and we're happy to report things are now running much more smoothly as we head into the new year.
Of course, there’s still more to do, and we’re committed to continuing the improvements. If anyone in the community knows of a reliable fountain maintenance company, we’d love your recommendation. Our current provider quoted nearly $900 just to replace three light bulbs, so we’re eager to explore better options.
Plans for Continued Improvement in 2026
Looking ahead, 2026 promises to be a year of focused progress. Building on what we have achieved, we aim to address remaining challenges with the landscape. Early Spring will bring a second round of sod.
Fostering Community Engagement
We want every resident to feel involved and heard.
More frequent community meetings will be held. Look for meetings in January, April, July and October.
Volunteer programs will continue and possibly expand.
Communication through our newsletter and website will continue.
How You Can Get Involved
The success of our neighborhood depends on active participation. Here are some ways you can contribute to making 2026 a great year for all:
Consider running for one of the two Board positions that will be available in 2026.
Join a neighborhood committee or volunteer group.
Attend community meetings and share your ideas.
Report maintenance issues through our website.
Your involvement helps shape the future of our neighborhood and ensures that improvements meet the needs of everyone.
Looking Forward with Optimism
As we raise a toast to 2026, we celebrate the progress made and the promise of what lies ahead. Our neighborhood is more than just a place to live; it is a community built on shared values, cooperation, and a vision for a better future. With continued effort and collaboration, we will create a neighborhood that is welcoming and vibrant for all residents.
Let’s embrace the new year with enthusiasm and a commitment to making our neighborhood the best it can be. Together, we will turn plans into action and challenges into opportunities.
