Prestwick II Landscape Committee News - Juniper Shrubs Update

Updated: Nov 4, 2025

The Landscape Committee has been busy evaluating our community’s greenery and identifying areas that need a little extra care.

Recently, we noticed that several juniper shrubs on interior units have become overgrown and woody, making it difficult to trim them back without leaving exposed roots. After consulting with our landscaper, it was recommended that these shrubs be removed and the areas refilled with attractive river rock for a clean, low-maintenance look.

If you would like to add a touch of color or personality, a potted plant may be placed among the river rock. Please remember that all additions must be approved by the HOA Board through a Modification Request form before installation.

If your home has been identified as one of the affected properties, please reach out to the Board (email: Ken Fehner pt2hoatreasurer@gmail.com) for review and possible inclusion in this landscape update project.

🌸 New! Prestwick II Garden Club

We’re excited to announce that the idea of forming a Prestwick II Garden Club was discussed at our recent HOA meeting! The club’s mission will be to bring neighbors together for some light gardening and good company. One of our first projects will be to add a splash of color around the gazebo on the Lane, making it an even more inviting place to gather and relax.

If you’re interested in joining or learning more about the Garden Club, please let the Board know, and someone from the group will be happy to contact you with details. (email: Ken Fehner pt2hoatreasurer@gmail.com)

Together, we’re keeping Prestwick II beautiful — one plant, one project, and one friendly conversation at a time! 🌼
